fishing, in okinawa

For me, one of the best ways to find peace is by going fishing.

You see, In our current modern world, where schedules are packed and screens relentlessly demand our attention, the art of fishing offers a unique and much-needed escape. It’s more than just a leisure activity; it’s a sanctuary where one can retreat from the chaos of reality. The mere act of preparing for a fishing trip, from selecting the right bait to organizing gear, feels like stepping into a realm where time moves at its own gentle pace.

Fishing is an embodiment of patience and resilience. It teaches us that good things come to those who wait, and that perseverance is often rewarded. As we sit by the water, we learn to be patient observers, attuned to the subtle movements of the environment. This patience cultivated on the riverbank often seeps into other aspects of our lives, enhancing our ability to tackle challenges with a calm mind and a determined spirit.

well if you have the patience and resilience…

this is me failing to hook the fish… and it escapes

Yes, this is me failing after an hour of patiently waiting. However, I managed to catch one. Let’s goooooooo

“In our pursuit of the grand and the complex, we often overlook life’s simple joys.” – my brother’s wisdom Lol but true though

I felt fishing, in its essence, is beautifully uncomplicated. It’s about a rod, a line, and a quiet moment by the water. In these uncomplicated moments, I find profound beauty. So yeah go, fishing guys.

Escaping from reality through fishing isn’t about avoidance. It’s about finding balance. It’s a reminder that amidst our bustling lives, there exist sanctuaries where time slows, and the soul finds peace. Fishing isn’t just about catching fish, it’s about catching moments of serenity, about escaping the cacophony of the world and listening to the whispers of nature. And satisfaction when the line goes “bizzzzz”.

Fishing could be boring for some people but for me, it is now an addiction.

Hope you guys had a wonderful day.
